Second Try

Into the ring-making saga stepped Al Bradley, ace machinist and glass newbie, who in exchange for the loan of some instructional videos very kindly made me some custom ring mandrels -- I think I got the best of the bargain! Using his hand-made "can" mandrels (see Workbench gallery) and some fat blue/white/clear/gold twisty I had lying around, I made these two little rings.
