The other pole of the opalino marble, showing how the yellow cooked down to a brownish colour, not very attractive really. I think this ugly pole sort of spoils the marble. I'm not sure that opalino can be used to make marbles actually, since it discolours and "crackles" after being in the flame too long; I can't see how to make a marble fast enough to prevent the glass from cooking.
