I can't help thinking of these as the "fried egg" beads. Anyway, the pixie dust is a red highlight, which gives them a pinkish bloom over the white glass base. A couple of pinkish pearls echo this, and I used headpins with a leaf-shaped termination instead of a plain head or loop. These are pricey pins, but they do look nicer.
