I do believe that this photo makes the marble a little more purple and a little less pink than it really is, i.e. it's a bit blued-out. But the shape, transparency, and annoying bubbles are all true to life. Unfortunately you can see a slight polar feature in the lamp reflection, where my last pontil mark is not quite invisible.
