This is a funny picture of a rather cute little marble. I made it from two different kinds of moretti white, accidentally. One was more translucent and a shade darker than the other, but I couldn't see this when it was hot. So when I got a carbon stain on this pole of the marble, and couldn't pick it out without damaging the pole, I just patched over it -- but unfortunately with White No. 2 instead of White No. 1. So now it has a perfect little bright white polka dot at this off-white pole. Oops. Moral of the story is, I should segregate my various moretti whites better.
