I finally got up the nerve to attempt what I had planned all along, and put one of ProFusion's dichro silhouettes inside a marble! This mid-size horse image was put in the center of a marble made out of Heidi's Czech peridot green (one of my favourite glasses). The encasing was a nightmare, as it was imperative not to distort the dichro in the core. Somehow in the course of all this, I managed to get a long thin bubble along one side of the dichro chunk, which after some heating and working turned into that nasty stretched cone right on the horse's neck (argh). The bubbles make this marble a "second," I fear, but it's a proof of concept.
